Calimari and spinach

Some rice.

 

Well, tonight we have Calimari over Spinach, a recipe I have never tried before. It is from my Greek Grandmother and with it some feta and cilantro stuffed eggplant from a Greek cookbook and some brown rice. I felt more grown-up somehow when I was cleaning the calimari and cutting it up. My husband looked un rather duboius. I promised him that it will all be delicious and am hoping so!

Although I like fried calimari and assorted eggplant dishes. Neither of these two Greek dishes seem like what I might want to do again for dinner. However, both were fun to try and were seriously authentic!
